She is finally here....and we love her

We are so happy to let the world know that LEXEE LEANNE SUNDERHAUS has finally arrived.
She was born on Monday July 27th at 5:50 p.m. weighing in at 7 lbs. 11 ozs. and 21 inches long. She has brown hair and enough of it to have a cute little curl on the top.

I am sorry it took me so long to blog about her I was waiting for her mom to get home and do the honors. I didn't want to barge in, but she said I could so I am. Look at this sweet new little family. It's amazing how one day they are not here and the very next day they are. She is a really peaceful baby and has really long fingers, just like her mom and dad and her cousin Anna (who already thinks she is pretty neat)

Here she is with her grandpa. We have a darling picture of Anna at 2 weeks old looking at grandpa just like that. Grandpa and these grandbabies must remember each other they seem to bond immediately. It is so sweet. You can tell she loves her mama, she just looks so sweetly at her and of course her mama in totally in love......Stephanie has always been such a nurturing person, she didn't even bat an eye becoming a mother. Plus she is the only person I know who at the end of pregnancy isn't just dying to get the baby here. I know I was always ALWAYS ready to get that baby out. She is a really good mom.

I am in love as well. I am always amazed how Heavenly Father makes room in our hearts for all of the littles one that we have, our own as well as our grandchildren. Just when you think you couldn't love anyone so much, another precious one comes along and amazingly we just love them equally. I love that part of the plan, the room for so much loving.
Uncle Jordan had stayed up all night after she was born and so the next day when we went to see her he fell fast asleep on the couch and so we put Lexee next to him and they were as comfy as could be. Jordan loves his nieces so much, he is really good with these sweet little girls. I love that about him.
Cody doesn't like her at all!!! He is so great with her. Not afraid at all (or so it seems) Stephanie said he was a great support and I love watching him soften when he is holding her.
He managed to go from super cool awesome dude uncle to super cool awesome dude dad pretty easily. That's what he calls himself with Anna. They have quite the bond thoses two, so you know he is going to be a great dad.

I love my grandkids. They are wonderful. I love their parents for sharing these sweet little girls with us. I love what kind of parents they all are and am so proud to be their mom. Thanks for my girls, I love them to pieces. I can't wait to see how they grow up together and love each moment they have as cousins. You are so amazing all of you and I just want to say how much I love you.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY LEXEE WE ARE SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE SAFE AND SOUND!

time for a change...I guess!!!

I grew up on Brown road where my parents still live. They built that house over 50 something years ago and we were all raised there. It has a great room, 3 beds and 2 baths, kitchen, and dinning room. There are 4 children, thankfully 2 boys and 2 girls. We shared rooms of course and I have nothing but great memories in that home. Yesterday was my brother Scott's birthday and my mom wanted to paint the room where my brothers grew up. One thing is though that when we were kids and Scott was in his teenage years he drew the most amazing pictures on the walls of this room. They were drawn in pencil. I have no clue if he asked if he could do this or not, he probably did, but anyway that was between 30 & 40 years ago. Although they have painted I think once since then they never painted over these wonderfully amazing drawings, until yesterday. Herb and I went over in the morning to help get the job done.... Thankfully by the time we got there my mother had already primed over the drawings or I would have had a much harder time. But it was already too late and they were gone. Childhood memories, primed and out of our lives, or so I thought. Thankfully my brillant parents thought to take pictures of the drawings before they were covered and so here they are...........
DRUMROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I TOLD YOU THEY WERE AMAZING!!!

If you are old enough to remember the TV show Kung Fu (which we watched every single week and then tried to be just like him). I find it ironic that David Karadean passed away this year. Isn't Scott amazing at art.

Here is another favorite of the Wizard of OZ. We loved that movie. I remember it coming on the Saturday of Thanksgiving week. (I think that is when it was). We stopped life to sit down and watch that movie.... This is the good-bye scene at the end just in case you didn't get the lions tear!!! Anyway to say the least I am so impressed with Scotts talent. I always have been impressed and somewhat jealous well actually very jealous of that talent. I am so grateful that my dad took these pictures. We are going to have them blown up and put in the room. It isn't quite the same, but at least the memory will still be there.

By the way, the room looks great, and it was really a fun day to spend with my parents and actually to get to spend the whole entire day with Herbie, that is always a treat.
So thanks for the memories Scott, for you amazing talent, and for your wonderful example of the Savior. I know He loves you and so do I. Happy Birthday Brother, I love you.

Turn around, turn around, turn around and she is 20!!!

I can hardly believe that 20 years has already gone with this wonderful girl. Here she is with her cousin Shelby (who she adores) at the beach a few years ago. Not a care in the world.
She is so funny, Love the side pony girl and the curled up tongue. Always keeping us on our toes.
At Christmas time this year we got to have her and her wonderful husband Curtis home for a couple of weeks. It was amazing we all had just a great time. So glad they could come.

Here she is love the gift that Christopher hand made for her to store her stuff in. She loved it, especially because she loves Christopher and he made it just for her.

Here she is at a ward party in Logan playing the angel. (go figure) She has been and always will be our sweet angel in a family of boys. Thanks heaven we have added a few more females to the mix. She is so good in so many ways the portraying an angel was a perfect fit.

Here she is on her honeymoon with her new sweetheart. She is a very lucky girl who sets amazing goals and seems to see them through somehow. We all admire that in her. She is lucky to have Curtis and he is lucky to have her. They are so great at just always doing what they are suppose to do and then putting the rest in the Lords hands. Great faith they both have. I admire that so much. Thanks for that example.
Here they are on a crazy visit or just before they left for school this past year. How fun to have them all here at the same time. I sure do love my kids and I know that Curt and Jacque love them as well and enjoy the moments they get to be with their families (both of them)

There is such an amazing bond between Jacque and Anna. Even though they don't see each other very often, it seems as soon as Anna sees her aunt Jacque she comes alive. They are totally in love with each other and it definately shows. She is an amazing aunt.
Friends are a huge part of Jacque's life. She loves her friends and they were all so supportive of her at her reception. Thanks girls for loving my girl, she loves you too.
Here she is in the woods camping with the Dana's and she of course is just loving the outdoors and writing all of her exciting times in her journal. She is amazing about writing in her journals. Thanks heavens someone in our family is keeping a record of life so that our posterity will know at least one of us. Thanks for your example of goodness and obediance. I love that in you.
When Jacque found the man of her dreams, and knew he was the one that was all there was to it. Mind made up that somehow this would become her dream come true. And it did. Thank you Curtis for always making her dreams come true. She has so many dreams and goals and with you she will manage to accomplish all of them and so much more. You are an amazing Priesthood holder who I trust to keep her safe and happy for eternity.
My blog is being so crazy and won't let me add any more pictures. But I just want Jacque to know how much we love her. How much we love it when she calls me and I run like crazy to get to that phone and talk to my little piece of heaven. Thank you for always being true to who you are, a wonderfully amazing daughter of God. You have blessed our lives in so many ways. I love that you love your brothers so much and that their approval is still something you are always hoping for. I love how you root them on in their endevors and how you love that sweet baby anna. I know that you will have the same bond with the new baby as well, you are just that kind of loving person. I hate that you are so far away and that I can't see you every day but I love that the Lord put us on earth during a time of great technology where we can talk and hear each others voices anytime that we want to.
I hope that you have a wonderful 20th birthday. Hard to believe it have been that long, but it has and you have accomplished so much in those short 20 years, I can't wait to see what you have left to do. Thank you for being the greatest example to me. You make your dad and I so proud, well the whole family really and now your new wonderful family who I know loves you so much as well. Smile a lot today, find joy in this life and in your sweet new little family with Curtis. Thanks for being the most wonderful daughter any Dad and Mom could ever have hoped for. We all love you soooooooooo much.
Be happy sweet little piece of heaven.
Continue to enjoy the blessings of the Temple. You have so many of them right at your fingertips. And what a wonderful blessing to be right where your favorite temple is. You were definately suppose to be in Logan, Utah. It is your Temple for sure and the Lord knew how to get you there and He never goes wrong. Thanks for being my little girl and dads little girl you are an amazingly wonderful daughter. Find joy in all you do.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JACQUE..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!
AND MANY MORE..........

2nd in the nation NOT BAD!!!

Wow, this past week was so much fun. Days were filled with volleyball, volleyball, volleyball, and more volleyball. I did put into the days a cup of mint/chocolate dippin dots, and pretzels and cheese as well, but most of all volleyball. Jordans Molten teamed played so well. They won all of their matches on the first day...
All of their matches on the second day... Check out the triple block!!!

2 our of 3 matches on the their 3rd day...

And then we went into the final day.
Exciting, exciting, exciting.
We just kept winning, and winning, it was so much fun.

We would watch the other teams in between our games and I would think, wow there is no way we are going to beat that team, they are simply too strong.

And yet, each time we would pull together and fight fight fight. It was great.
Here is Aunt Cina in between games on the final day. It was freezing in the big gym!!!

Herb was the best helper during warm ups

Jordan played with everything that he had and it was so much fun to watch him.
I hated that this would be the last time we would be at games with him (for a few years at least)
so we counted our blessings that we could go to Atlanta and watch him shine one more time.

He is an awesome player. He amazes us every time he plays. Way to go Jordan

We made it to the finals, and won the first game, but lost the next 2 games. A pinch frustrating, but farther then Molten has ever gone before. 2nd place in all of the nation, not bad for sure.

Go figure that when I am clear across the nation in Georgia I find my best growing up friend Elmer Heap. He lives in San Diego and his son was there playing for the Seaside team. What a koinkidink!!! Elmer is such a great man, they have 5 wonderful children and it was so good to see him again. I love how years and years go by, but friendships never change.

Here we are after the final match waiting for the medal ceremony
Jordan was so happy that Aunt Cina (Herb's sister) could join us there. We had such a great time together. Thanks Cina for making the effort to support Jordan. He love's you

Finally they are up on the award stand. It was so exciting.

Here they are, the 2nd best team in the nation! Who knows maybe one day some of them will be famous and we can say we knew you when.
We just had a wonderful week with this wonderful kid. We are very proud of him as he grows and makes great choices. Thanks Jordan for the wonderful ride...
We Love You

Nationals.....

Well I was hoping to bring my laptop and download pictures each day and all that good stuff, but the internet costs a ton a day and so I left it home, butttttt my sister in law brought her little which I cannot download any pictures onto it, but I can type this note to let you know how things are going. We are in Atlanta Georgia this week for Jordan's Volleyball Junior Nationals Tournament. It is very exciting. So far yesterday he won all of the 3 matches they played and today so far he has won both of the matches they have played. We have one more to go tonight against a really big team from Hawaii so I will let you know how that goes tomorrow. We are all having a great time here. It is such a different world on the other side of the USA but beautiful and the weather is actually a ton better then at home. The breezes blow every day and it feels great. Not too humid like I thought it would be. I am getting great pictures with my new wonderful camera and taking lots of video for the grandparents to watch when I get home. Anyway wish us luck and I will keep you posted on the results. We are very proud of this boy and this week is very bittersweet because it is the last time we will get to watch him play ball, so we are soaking up each second. Hope all of you are not roasting to death back home. Maybe I will try to bring a breeze home with me. Talk to you soon.

Time Flies...

Wow times flies when you are having fun. And so much fun we have had with these two wonderful boys. Last night after Stake Priesthood meeting Jordan and David were ordained Elders. They were just born the other day. I remember...
We are all so proud of them. These boys were born about 3 1/2 weeks apart. But because Jordan was born in December and David was born in January they were never in same primary class, but that is where the non-togetherness stops. They have been friends since you can be friends and I know for a fact that Jordan loves the Hunts as much if not more then he loves us. We love them that way as well. I love it when kids can grow up their whole lives together and still like each other when all is said and done.
So congrats to you both, and how great was it to be able to do it together. Now we look forward to mission calls and that whole experience. Here we go on the next ride. Hope it is as fun as the one so far. I love you both so much.
Thanks for being such great kids.

Twenty WHAT!!!

Happy Birthday wonderful daughter! Today is Rachel's birthday and I am really hoping that it is an amazing day for her. Here we are at Disneyland, we had so much fun.
I just want to say a few things about our Rachel. She is amazing, wonderful, talented, smarter then the average bear...the best mom and wife. She sings like a beautiful bird, and plays the piano so well. One of the things I admire about Rachel is her willingness to serve others. Since service is my favorite thing in the world this always impresses me about people. She is generous with her time and runs to the aide of friends and family in need whenever she is able.
She is a wonderful teacher. Her knowledge goes far and beyond and she is so willing to share that knowledge. We call our Google Girl. If any of us have a question we always just shout out, "ask Rachel and if she doesn't know she will just google it!!!" Love Her for that and sooooo sooooo sooooo much more.
She is amazing with that sweet baby. She sings to her, and plays with her, she giggles with her and gets the loose change out of her and Anna's eyes just light up when her mama comes into sight. I love that she reads her books. The other night at the beach the kids were going to Ruby's on the pier for a milkshake and Anna needed to go to bed. I told them I would take care of that and sweet Rachel said "Will you please read to her?" I said of course I will, and I felt so privilaged to have her allow me to have that sweet moment with Anna. Thanks for that Rachel.
We are so blessed to have Rachel in our lives. I hope she is feeling that, and I hope and pray she knows how much we love her. Thanks for all you do for our family Rachel. We are so glad that you are a part of us and that you are willing to put up with our crazy ways.
I hope you have an amazing day and that all your dreams come true.
WE LOVE YOU...
This is just after Anna was born and I just love this picture, isn't it beautiful.
HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY TO YOU.
You don't look a day over 18!!!
